Terms of Service

1. Who runs this

Helios is operated by NYPTID Industries ("we", "us"). Reach the operator at casey@nyptidindustries.com.

Helios is the brand for the consumer-facing AI products at nyptid.com. NYPTID Industries is the parent company at nyptidindustries.com.

2. What you're getting

Access to: voice + chat (all tiers), Helios Search dual-engine verified results (all tiers, with quotas), /imagine image generation (Premium and above), /code workspace with the frontier reasoning engine (Pro and above), /3D and sub-agent infrastructure (Pro and above), custom voice cloning (Studio).

Service is provided "as-is" — no warranty that any specific feature will be available continuously. Helios depends on multiple upstream infrastructure providers; outages happen and we route around them where possible but cannot guarantee uptime.

3. Subscription + billing

Paid tiers (Premium $25/mo, Pro $49/mo, Studio $199/mo) are billed monthly via Stripe. You authorize recurring billing on the day-of-month you subscribed until you cancel.

Cancellation: any time from /account → "Open Stripe portal". Takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access through the period you've already paid for.

We may change pricing on 14 days' notice via email + the press page. Existing subscribers keep their original price for at least 60 days after a price change announcement.

3a. Refund policy

FIRST 7 DAYS — full refund, no questions asked. If you signed up and Helios isn't what you expected within 7 days of your first payment, email casey@nyptidindustries.com or open a Stripe portal session and request a refund. We process within 3 business days.

AFTER 7 DAYS — no refunds for partial months. Cancel any time and keep access through the end of your current billing period; you won't be charged again.

OUTAGES — if a paid feature is fully unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours, email support and we'll credit you a pro-rated portion of the current month at our discretion.

DISPUTES / CHARGEBACKS — please email us first. We'd rather refund you than fight a chargeback.

4. Acceptable use

Don't: send queries that meaningfully advance creating weapons capable of mass harm; don't generate CSAM or other content illegal where you live; don't impersonate real people in defamatory ways; don't use Helios to send unsolicited bulk communication; don't try to extract Helios's system prompts or jailbreak the model in ways meant to bypass safety.

Do: anything else productive. Helios is intentionally permissive for adult creative + technical work. We log abuse signals, not conversations — see /privacy.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you put into Helios (prompts, files, voice recordings).

Helios receives a license to process that content for the purpose of giving you a useful response. We don't train models on your content. We don't sell or share it. Our upstream infrastructure providers operate under zero-data-retention or short-retention agreements that we route through.

Outputs (the model's responses, generated images, generated code) are yours to use commercially. We make no IP-cleanliness guarantee — outputs can occasionally resemble training-data fragments; you're responsible for the final use.

6. Intellectual property

The Helios brand, the arc-reactor mark, the CCAS OS chrome, and the NYPTID Industries product surface are owned by NYPTID Industries.

The 13-mechanic conversational rubric and the 5-capability scoreboard published in the press / north-star are observation-derived and free to reuse with attribution.

7. Termination

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate the acceptable use rules or that pose a security risk. We'll email a reason where we can.

You can terminate any time by canceling your subscription and removing your account via /account.

8. Liability

Helios is a tool. You are responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them — especially for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. Don't pilot a real airplane based on Helios's instructions.

Our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. If you're on Free tier, that's $0.

9. Changes

These terms can be updated. Material changes get notice via email + the press page. Continued use after the effective date = acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of operation of NYPTID Industries. Disputes will first be addressed via good-faith email at casey@nyptidindustries.com.
